Biography
Rosco McClelland is an award-winning Scottish comedian and 2025 winner of the Sir Billy Connolly Award, a prestigious honour celebrating the warmth, resilience and humour of Glasgow.
Rosco recently has had huge success, having won Best International Act at the New Zealand Comedy Festival in 2025 following an incredible run at the festival.
He also sold out his recent runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, most notably with most vulnerable show yet ‘Sudden Death’ exploring life and death and his own health issues. It received rave reviews and the show was named one of Rolling Stone’s 12 Must-See Comedy Shows of the Fringe.
Rosco’s comedy is defined by offbeat musings and exaggerated visual imagery that feel natural rather than forced, consistently leaving audiences wanting more. He has sold out shows at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Perth Fringe Festival, and is set to perform at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, continuing to deliver performances internationally that showcase his comedic brilliance.
He is a regular panellist on BBC Scotland’s Breaking The News and co-hosts the podcast Shooting Ropes with Christopher MacArthur-Boyd.
