The Gag Reflex Season Finale: This Quarter’s Best Bits!
It’s been a busy and exciting few months for Gag Reflex. As we close out the final quarter of 2026, we wanted to share a few standout moments, updates, and behind-the-scenes bits from across the office and beyond!
What’s been happening…?
We were thrilled to welcome Ross Smith to the Gag Reflex family in November. Known for his quick wit, sharp humor, and engaging storytelling, Ross brings a fresh burst of energy to our roster. Rounding out the year, we’ve signed the brilliant James Barr, whose smart, joyful comedy and booming online presence make him a perfect fit for the Gag Reflex lineup. As the storyteller behind one of the most talked-about shows of Edinburgh Fringe 2025, Sorry I Hurt Your Son (Said My Ex To My Mum), we can’t wait for what he’s got coming in 2026!
A massive shoutout to Scotland’s own Rosco McClelland, who landed at No. 8 on The List Hot 100 – the highest-ranked comic of the year. For those not familiar, The List Hot 100 is the annual rundown of the most influential, innovative and exciting figures in Scottish arts and culture, celebrating the people who’ve made a real impact over the past 12 months.
What’s coming up…!
Brilliant news for Jessie Nixon, who brings her award-winning show Don’t Make Me Regret This to Soho Theatre on the 13th & 14th April 2026.Fresh from taking home Best Show at the Women in Comedy Festival, Jessie’s gearing up for a fantastic London run.
Tickets for her entire tour can be found here; https://gagreflex.co.uk/shows/dont-make-me-regret-this-2/
Our Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival artists have officially been announced today, and we’re excited to see such a brilliant mix of shows heading Down Under. Our Melbourne lineup features Rosco McClelland, Harriet Dyer, and James Barr, while Laser Kiwi, Tape Face, James Barr, and Ben Hart are all heading to Adelaide.

Our next Industry Showcase is going to be happening on 29th January, with an exciting 2026 lineup already taking shape. We had a blast earlier this year hosting the Northern Takeover with AROL and Fab Comedy Management. There were performances from Kate Butch, John Robertson, Flat and the Curves, Joe Sutherland and Alex Mitchell. More details and invites will be coming early in the new year. Watch this space!
Laser Kiwi have kicked off their sit-down season at the stunning Palazzo in Hamburg, bringing their signature absurdity and charm to German audiences. It’s a fantastic step in their international journey, with the trio already winning over crowds and settling in for a strong winter season.
Huge news for Wankernomics, who have officially sold out two nights at the London Palladium and added a third date due to overwhelming demand.
The wonderful Harriet Dyer made it to the British Comedian of the Year Final, proving once again that audiences can’t get enough of her joyful chaos, big-hearted storytelling and gloriously unexpected tangents. An impressive milestone for a comic who brings something genuinely different to every stage.
John Robertson is wrapping up the year in true John Robertson fashion, by touring The Dark Room AND Plays With The Audience simultaneously. Two shows, two completely different kinds of mayhem, and one performer somehow surviving it all.
There’s also been plenty happening at Gag HQ, with a mix of new projects taking shape, big announcements rolling out and a few exciting behind-the-scenes wins we can finally talk about.
Inside Gag HQ…!
Big news at Gag HQ – we’ve expanded! Sarah Clinch has joined us as a Producer & Associate Agent, bringing her Scottish charm, detail-driven mindset and a producer’s eye for getting things done. With a background in music and producing, Sarah offers a creative eye and a calm, practical skillset that fits perfectly with the demands of the role.
She is working closely with Tori, Beth, Hannah and Georgi to provide support across each department, and keep things running smoothly for our clients at every stage. Sarah has been quickly finding her feet, getting to grips with the role and already proving herself a brilliant addition to an ever-growing Gag team. She’s settled in so smoothly we’re starting to think she might be the most organised person here (but don’t tell the others!)
To round off the year, the team have been deep in the very serious business of festive blind mince-pie taste testing. With each member of Gag Reflex buying mince pies from different supermarkets, the team ranked their favourites with the kind of scrutiny usually reserved for Michelin inspectors. If you’re wondering about the outcome? Morrisons were the victors, so run to get them before they disappear off the shelves!
Made it to the end? You’re a star, and we appreciate you more than a perfectly scored mince pie! We’ll be back with more news in the New Year so keep your eyes peeled. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, and here’s to a brilliant 2026!
