She believes in collaboration and cultivating face to face community, running regular free writers meetings via her Patreon.
She is a regular writer and performer on BBC Radio’s flagship satirical news comedy show The News Quiz as well as appearing regularly on ABC radio in Australia. She also appears on the multi-award-winning, A Rational Fear, and became such a beloved and regular co host on The Bugle that she was given her own spin-off shows; the deranged and experimental The Last Post, The Gargle and the science fiction and fantasy vehicle, Realms Unknown.
She has written for a number of television projects, including The Project on Channel 10 in Australia, Question Everything on the ABC and for comedians appearing on Mock The Week, Live at The Apollo and Roast Battle.
In 2025, Alice made international news with the release and book tour of her debut book, ‘A Passion for Passion’, a delirious love letter to the romance and romantasy genre.
She was long listed for the 2025 ish comedy award for her Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre run with a show of the same name that was mainly about masculinity and what men get wrong about what women want – a comedy show about writing a book about romance!
Her four documentaries for Audible; Calm World: Introduction to Meditation (on Meditation), In The Habit: Introduction to Changing our Behaviour (on Habit Change), All Being Well: Introduction to the World of Wellness (on Wellness culture) and Make Life Work (on Work Life Balance), are extremely popular, with In The Habit being in the top five most downloaded titles on the app in its release year. Alice also co-hosted BBC Radio 4 series Stranger Than Sci-Fi , about the ongoing conversations between science and science fiction.
Alice has also been involved in a number of podcasts, she heads her own successful podcasts Tea with Alice, Realms Unknown and The Gargle every week and her trilogy of stand-up shows Savage, The Resistance and Empire were combined as The Alice Fraser Trilogy, a podcast series commissioned by Australia’s National Broadcaster that was voted the Best Australian Podcast of 2018 by Apple Australia.
Her special, Savage was commissioned by Amazon Prime. Alice’s show Chronos got four stars from The Telegraph and five from the Herald Sun and her recent show Twist was the subject of rave reviews and sell out audiences. Both are available on GoFasterStripe. She also has performed to critical acclaim at Festivals including the Melbourne international Comedy Festival, Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, New Zealand and Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
