Biography
Within Steve Shanyaski’s first six months of his comedy career, he made it through to the semi finals of the BBC New Comedian of the Year and the North West Comedian of the Year Final, since then he has gone from strength to strength.
He is a regular headliner with The Comedy Store, Frog And Bucket, and many of the top comedy nights across the UK. Steve has also been a support act for the best acts in comedy like Jason Manford and John Bishop in 2022, and also performed at the Royal Variety in 2011. He combines surreal observations with wildly tangential imaginings, his off kilter set pieces have audiences fully immersed in it.
Steve has co presented XS Manchester’s popular prime time radio show Football Social alongside legends of Football and also has performed at esteemed festivals like Kendal Calling & Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
