News from Gag HQ
A huge congratulations to Beth, our Head of Festivals, who took on the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run Half Marathon at the end of last month. Swapping festival schedules for training plans, Beth successfully crossed the finish line. We’re all incredibly proud of her achievement!
Congratulations are also in order to Lee, our Director, who recently took on the Maverick X Trail Peak 101km challenge in aid of Blythe House Hospice. The route took him through some of the Peak District’s most stunning scenery, including Bakewell, Upper Burbage, Edale, Mam Tor and Bamford. While the heat ultimately got the better of him and he had to stop at an incredible 73km, Lee still raised around £700 for the hospice. Most importantly, it was a fantastic day out with friends in the beautiful countryside for a brilliant cause.
