Jamie MacDonald has taken home the Grierson Award for Disney Plus UK’s Best Documentary Presenter, alongside Jamie O’Leary for their documentary Blind Ambition.

The documentary which is available on BBC iPlayer, follows Jamie MacDonald and Jamie O’Leary as they meet artists who have lost their sight.

The Grierson Trust Awards celebrates the best documentaries in the UK and further afield, and Jamie is ecstatic to have won: “I’ve never won a thing in my life! So to win ‘Best Presenter’ for my BBC2 Documentary ‘Blind Ambition’ at the prestigious Grierson awards is amazing!”
